Prince Harry: Charles and William won’t ‘extend arms’ says Rae
Prince Harry is yet to reconcile with his family, after the incendiary claims he and wife Meghan Markle made in their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. An insider has claimed Prince Charles is still “fuming” at his son for publicly attacking the Royal Family and says the Duke has not been keen to ask his father for forgiveness.
Prince Harry spoke openly about his rift with his older brother during his chat with Oprah, and said their relationship is “space” at the moment.
The Duke of Sussex also claimed his family are “trapped” by their royal duties.
Harry reunited with his family for the first time in over a year last month, for Prince Philip’s funeral.
Though the Duke was pictured chatting with his older brother, an insider has claimed William is not yet ready to forgive.
The source told Us Weekly: “Harry did speak to William while he was in the UK, so in that respect, they made some progress.
“But they definitely haven’t reached the stage where all is forgiven nor have they buried the hatchet.”
Prince Charles and Prince William still have a way to go before they can forgive Prince Harry
Harry’s relationship with his father is said to be in worse shape.
A source said: “Unfortunately, Harry and Charles didn’t resolve their differences when Harry returned to the UK.
“They barely communicated. There definitely continues to be a huge wedge between the two.
“Charles is still fuming about Harry throwing shade at him and the royal family in the big interview and won’t let it drop.
“But to be honest, Harry didn’t go running back to Charles begging for forgiveness either.”

Melanie Kaidan takes over live reporting from Bill McLoughlin.
When asked during an appearance on “Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special” whether she felt “betrayed” that her father was “working with the tabloids”, the Duchess said that Thomas had denied it all.
She explained: “When I asked him, he said, ‘No, absolutely not [that he hadn’t been talking to the tabloids]’.”
“I said, I just need you to tell me and if you tell me the truth we can help. And he wasn’t able to do that.
Many royal fans were saddened by her claims, as unearthed reports suggest she and her father did enjoy a really close relationship before she joined the Royal Family.
A source, who claimed to be close to the former actress, told People magazine in May 2018: “Meghan loves her dad.
“Like any father-daughter relationship, there have been ups and downs over the years.
“But they are in a good place now.”
Moreover, writing in her former lifestyle blog The Tig in 2016 about her work as a calligrapher, Meghan said: “When I booked my first [TV] pilot, my dad wrote me a letter that I still have.
“The idea of someone taking the time to put pen to paper is really special.”
The Crown star Erin Doherty has spoken out about the pressure of her newfound fame from playing Princess Anne in Netflix’s royal drama, admitting to having a “meltdown”.
Erin Doherty shot to stardom after being cast as Princess Anne in Netflix’s popular royal drama The Crown.
The young actress had previously roles in Call The Midwife and the BBC’s version of Les Misérables, but was relatively unknown before her role in The Crown.
In a recent interview, the star has opened up about the pressure she felt when playing a member of the royal family.
Erin explained she felt a lot of pressure when taking on the role because Princess Anne is such well known public figure.
“I had a minor meltdown, but the first year I didn’t have to do anything, so I got away with that!” She revealed.
“Then this year came and they said they would give me lessons. I started last Summer, and went through to January and I wish I had had them sooner because it really showed me why Anne is the way she is,” Erin told the Evening Standard.

Prince Harry has decided not to return to the UK for the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue, according to a royal author, who suggested that the Duke of Sussex was concerned by the reaction from the British public.
Prince Harry has been put off from returning to the UK this summer for the unveiling of a statue in honour of his late mother Princess Diana.
TalkRADIO host Patrick Christys said: “They were going to unveil this statue in honour of Princess Diana on July 1st at Kensington Palace, but apparently now Harry is not going to come back for that.”

The birthday girl wears a pretty floral print dress in the photo.

Damian Holbrook, a prominent TV critic in the US, has brutally mocked the Royal Family on Twitter.

Camilla should not become Queen, a YouGov poll has found
2.15pm update: Two people arrested for trespass of Queen’s Windsor estate
Two people have been arrested after they were found trespassing in the Royal Family’s Windsor estate.
A 29-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both from London, were found in the grounds of Royal Lodge, where the Duke of York lives, on 25 April.
Thames Valley Police said there was no risk to anyone on the site and they were released while inquiries continue.
Prince Charles, 72, has been married to Camilla for over 15 years but their relationship remains marred due to their infamous affair that occurred while the royal was still married to Princess Diana.
As first in line to the throne, Prince Wales will become monarch, but Britons have expressed their opposition to Camilla becoming Queen – as is tradition for the wife of a King.
A YouGov poll, which quizzed 1,730 UK adults from April 21-22, found that just 14 percent of respondents think Camilla should become Queen when Prince Charles becomes King.
This marked a one percent rise on the last time Britons were polled on the question, on November 21-22 2019.
Just over a quarter of respondents (26 percent) thought Camilla should have no title at all, but this marked a decrease from 30 percent in the previous survey.
Almost half of those surveyed (44 percent) thought Camilla should bear the title Princess Consort instead.
Prince Harry is set to be frozen out of the Royal Family after both Prince Charles and William agreed to snub him, according to a royal expert. Charlie Rae, a former royal editor at The Sun, told talkRADIO that it looks as if the feud between William and Harry “will not be solved”.
He said William and Charles “will never again extend their open arms to Harry” after he “crossed the line”.
TalkRADIO host Kevin O’Sullivan said: “We read that Harry was shocked by the frosty reception he got from some members of the Royal Family. Some literally turned their back on him. He was stunned by this – I’m not sure why that was a surprise to him.
“It must be occurring to him how frozen out he is, how he has turned his back on his former life. There is suggestion that when he came back a few weeks ago, he was reminded of his old life.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s popularity have plummeted in recent months
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s popularity ratings continue to plummet, with new polling showing their favourability has dropped to a new low.
A YouGov poll published on Tuesday found that almost half of Britons view the Duke negatively, while more than 60 percent have a negative view of the Duchess.
The poll, which quizzed 1,730 UK adults from April 21-22, found 49 percent of Britons now regard Harry negatively, giving him a net score of -6.
This is a further drop from March 11-12, when attitudes towards the Duke turned negative for the first time. Just 43 percent viewed Harry positively, down from 45 percent the previous month.
Meghan’s scores have also plunged, with just 29 percent having a positive view of the Duchess.
A whopping 61 percent view her negatively, up from 58 percent. This means she has a net rating of -32, down from -14 earlier in the month.
Both Meghan and Harry have lower popularity ratings than they did after their interview with Oprah Winfrey first aired in March.
Commenting on the latest polling, the Telegraph’s royal expert Camilla Tominey said the drop in popularity is due to the fallout from their tell-all chat.
She said: “So the pair have divebombed in the British public’s estimation since their Oprah Winfrey interview, in which they accused the Royal family of being racist and unsupportive.”
The Queen knew about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s plans to step back as senior royals, but was not aware of the timing of the announcement, an expert has claimed.
Royal biographer Robert Jobson said Her Majesty had asked the couple to keep their plans quiet for the time being. But when Meghan and Harry announced their intentions on Instagram, he said the Queen was left “unsettled and upset”.
Mr Jobson said: “Philip was spotted leaving Sandringham in the morning, after he was reportedly made furious by Meghan and Harry’s intention to step back as senior royals.
“The Duke of Edinburgh, who was seen sitting on the passenger seat of his Land Rover wearing a seat belt, is understood to have said, ‘What on earth are they playing at?’ after the Sussexes issued their statement.
“One senior member of the Royal Household told me that the Duke’s fit of pique was due to seeing his wife unsettled and upset by the couple’s behaviour.”

British line to the throne
Princess Charlotte turns six today and to mark the special occasion Kensington Palace has released a new picture of the youngster.
The photo, taken by mum Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, was captured this weekend in Norfolk. Royal fans have gushed over the image, with several pointing out the royal looks just like the Queen.
One person wrote: “Happy birthday HRH Princess Charlotte. You are the spitting image of your great grandmother.”
A second user said: “Happy 6th Birthday to beautiful Princess Charlotte! @KensingtonRoyal She’s a Windsor! So like The Queen!”
A third wrote: “Princess Charlotte is a true Windsor. “Always amazed at how much she looks like Queen Elizabeth.”
The Queen knew about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s plans to quit as senior members of the Royal Family, but told them to hold off on announcing the plans, a royal expert has claimed.
Royal biographer Robert Jobson said Her Majesty told the couple to wait until the Firm could iron out the arrangements for them to step down officially, but Meghan and Harry went ahead and announced the news anyway.
He said: “That said the Queen gave explicit instructions to Harry that neither he nor his wife should go public about their future plans at this time and until it had been agreed and signed off by her and the Prince of Wales.
“Within days the situation had deteriorated further, when Prince Charles and Prince William the next two direct heirs in line of succession, were only sent a copy of Prince Harry and Meghan’s statement ten minutes before it was released and without any further consultation.
“It was a complete mess and Harry and Meghan were acting like loose cannons.”
Princess Charlotte turns six today and to celebrate the occasion Kate and Prince William released a new picture of the royal.
The candid head-and-shoulders picture, taken by Kate this weekend in Norfolk, shows a beaming Charlotte in a blue floral dress.
The Rachel Riley floral outfit has pink buttons with frills running down the dress and across the collar.
