The double-breasted tuxedo style dress, £139 from Reiss, with full-length sleeves, featured a matching dark blue belt with a gold buckle.
Kate wore the dress eight years ago in 2012 to give her first public speech, bringing the look full circle to a huge announcement in her biggest project to date.
