Several sports betting companies offer chances to win cash for making predictions about Tuesday’s 2020 presidential debate, according to reports.
FOX Bet Super 6 will give people the chance to win money from making predictions about what happens during the debate on Tuesday night, according to Fox News. DraftKings and FanDuel will also give $50,000 to the highest winners, The Associated Press reported.
The bets in FOX Bet’s platform have the chance to win if they correctly guess what happens in the debate, like what nickname President Donald Trump will have for Democratic nominee Joe Biden, if they will shake hands and if they will wear masks.
“All eyes should be on this presidential debate and we encourage all Americans to tune in. Our game aims to be an entertaining way for viewers to take in the debate, test their knowledge of the most important issues that will be discussed and have some fun along the way,” FOX Bet interim CEO Kip Levin told Media Angle in an interview.
FanDuel already had started giving free proposition bet contests in the 2020 Democratic primary debates, Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel’s chief marketing officer, told the AP.
“We’re thrilled with customers’ appetite to use culture at large as an opportunity to compete with others for a chance to win cash,” Raffensperger said, according to the AP. Raffensperger also said that FanDuel has done contests like these pertaining to reality television shows.

FOX Bet Super 6 started in September 2019 and already has distributed $1.4 million, usually from their National Football League contests that happen weekly, Fox News reported. The promised prize for Tuesday night’s debate, $25,000, will be distributed amongst the app’s highest winners.
